Skin cancer is the most common cancer worldwide. When caught early, it is among the most treatable. Yet the majority of suspicious lesions are first seen not by dermatologists, but by primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and urgent care providers who may lack specialized dermoscopic training.
Skinpendium was created to bridge that gap. Our AI-powered clinical decision support system helps non-dermatologist physicians evaluate suspicious skin lesions with the confidence of a specialist-level second opinion — calibrated probability scores, transparent evidence from similar confirmed cases, and seamless integration into existing clinical workflows.
We are pursuing FDA 510(k) clearance as a Class II medical device. Our aim is simple: help clinicians catch skin cancer early, refer the right patients with confidence, and spare others a biopsy they did not need.
